Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel
Height clearance reduced to 4.3 meters since May 5, 2025. Recreational vehicles, among others, make sure to respect the height clearance before including the tunnel in your itinerary. .
Work on the Laviolette Bridge will resume during weekday nights and sometimes on weekend nights until fall 2025.
Check the roadworks in detail for information, including the planned times of the obstructions.

Saguenay—Lac-Saint-Jean
Oversized shipments are being transported from the ports of Quebec City, Pointe-au-Pic in La Malbaie, and Grande-Anse in Saguenay to Saint-Tite-des-Caps as part of a new wind power project. These shipments of huge pieces will continue until the end of November 2025.
The roads used by these transports are: A-40, A-73 Laurentienne, A-73 Henri-IV, A-440 Charest, A-740, R-136, R-138, R-362, R-175, A-70 and local roads.
