Measures to facilitate your trips

Since 2011, several Mobility Montréal partners, with funding from the ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification des transports, have deployed various public and active transportation mitigation measures to reduce the impacts of road congestion caused by road projects in the Greater Montréal area:

  • Addition of bus and train service;
  • Reserved bus lanes;
  • Park and ride;
  • Train station and bus terminal developments or work;
  • Incentive fares favouring public transit.

Public transit programs offered by businesses

OPUS+ entreprise (RMT) and OPUS & Cie (STM) are two similar programs that allow participating businesses to offer their employees discounts on annual public transit passes. An employer may choose to participate in both programs to give its employees on and off Île de Montréal an incentive to use public transit.
